This ground-mount, 6MW utility photovoltaic array in Porterville, California featured some cost-saving elements that set the standard for its successors.
The existing 14-story office building is being converted into market-rate apartments, while the existing adjacent parking structure will form the podium for 5-stories of new units, for a total of 275 total residences. The project will feature amenities such as a gym, pool, dog park, and pet wash.
